Halloween Costume Accessories

Halloween Accessories to Add To Halloween Costumes
With Halloween costumes, accessories can completely change the look. From the makeup to spooky eyes to using a mask to a complete Halloween costume. One little thing can change everything. If you are on an extremely tight budget, buy a cheap costume. Then, look around the house. Create accessories to add and enhance your costume. Here is how.
A pirate costume is a universal Halloween costume. You are a Goth person and have a lot of Goth jewelry.  A studded bracelet, a studded neck collar, black Goth boots, black trench coat, and even black nail polish and lipstick.
First, put on the white flowing shirt and black pants of the costume. Tuck the pant legs inside your boots.  Take your neck collar and snap it around one of your ankles for an effect. If you have more than one, use them on both ankles and around your neck. Keep the styles together to match the ankles. Wear only one bracelet on your wrist. You can use black wedged or chunky shoes if you do not have boots.
If your Halloween costume came with a vest, use those colors to heighten it by using accessories that will coordinate and blend.  If it was solid red, then use spooky red eyes that look scary and menacing wearing only black lipstick with hints of red mixed in. Make patterns on your nails using black nail polish as the base. After it dries, use red nail polish for the designs or use press on designs to accent the costume. The same goes if the vest was green with a pattern. Add some flair to make things look awesome.
You can use your black trench coat if it is a chilly night.  Wrap a color coordinated scarf around your head and waist. Your Halloween costume usually comes with one. If not, match it with your vest so nothing clashes. Use one pirate earring or use a set of gold or silver hoops with pirate symbols. You can glue things onto a cheap pair of earrings to make the accessory accent everything.

You can take this Halloween accessory look one step further and become a living dead pirate. Nasty, rotten teeth, skin coming off the bone with awesome face makeup. Change the eyes up to completely white for a dead effect. Use skeleton skin gloves or bony fingers to make the boney effect in the hands. Create a hook on one hand. Limp and drag your foot or create a peg leg.
There are several different styles of Halloween Costumes to choose from. The accessories used for these costumes are limitless. Just because some are included with the costume, you are your own person, free style and change things up to being unique, bold, and daring. The costume can take on a life of its own with a completely different meaning or added twist from good to evil and evil to semi bad.

But, if you do not hurry, the Halloween costumes will sell out fast! How do you decide? Here are a few options.

First off, are you going solo to the party? Are you and your friends, kids, or other family members going trick or treating together? What if you are going with your significant other or even your pet? These important Halloween decisions make the final decision of what movie character you will become.
The Black Widow Costume from the Avengers
f you are going with your date, then one can be Cat Woman and one can be the Dark Knight. Be evil and the other person is good. Black Widow and one of the Avenger characters would be interesting. Like the Hulk, Hawkeye, or Thor. Using their weapons for accessories and an authentic costume will make it interesting.
Dark Knight Rising Batman costume

Stick Black Widow with Tony Stark, who is Iron Man and have a third person be Pepper Potts, his love interest. Create jealousy and a love triangle. End up having a cat fight. That would be the talk of the party. If you make it look real and the costumes authentic, it could turn up on a You Tube video!
You and your pet can be using authentic Halloween costumes. Your dog could have Thor’s lightening as the sidekick. Or the dog could become Hawkeye’s bow. Captain America could have the dog as his sidekick with American colors to help the sick and wounded in battle.
The kids, mom, and dad definitely could go as Avengers, Spiderman, or Men in Black as a family.  Kids love Captain America, Thor, and the Hulk. If you had a daughter, have her go as Thor’s sister or Black Widow. Create a Ms. Captain America. The costume would be easy for her and look real. Being a Hulkstress is definitely going to be fun! Her mom and herself could be good and then evil. One side of each or just create half and half with the costume itself along with the face makeup.
Dad can be Spiderman with mom being Spiderwoman. That would be interesting with spider babies. Venomous spiders that looks so innocent until they bite you! Mix up the kids being red and black in alternating colors.
Keep it cool with Men in Black with the black, dark sunglasses and simple Halloween costumes. Wear a white shirt, black pants, jacket, and shoes.
