Halloween Costumes 4 U to Show Videos of Costumes

Halloween Costumes 4U wants you to know what you are buying, so in the near future, many of the costumes on their pages will include a short runway video of someone wearing the costume. This will allow the potential customer to really see what the costume looks like in motion. You'll see many angles as the models move around. You'll see what accessories  are included or available and how they look with the costume. Here's a page of a Lady GaGa costume that includes a video - much more to come!

The Smurfs 2 Movie Releases Today!

So, as I am passing what is locally known as the 'Smurf' house last night, it reminds me to write a little something about those annoying little blue guys, because Smurfs 2 releases today. I've often wondered what would make a homeowner decide to paint his house bright blue, when it is surrounded by all kinds of beautiful nature. But it's been that way for years. It's almost like a haunted house for smurfs.
Anyway, my predictions for the new Smurfs movie is that it will do OK, but nowhere near the over 400 million the last movie made. Maybe a mere 100 million. I'd like to make a hundred million!

Of course, this blog is about finding Halloween Costumes, and you'll find a link to some cute Smurf costumes below, but I thought I'd share some interesting facts here also.

Katy Perry does the voice of Smurfette. Britany Spears does music. Lot's of Stars over the years have done the voices of the various Smurfs.
Smurfs were first created way back in 1958
Before zombie's were big, there was a smurf episode, called The Purple Smurfs that depicts Smurfs getting bitten by a bugs with a virus that turns them into angry weird Smurfs. That is where Angry Smurf came to be.

So, if you or your kids want to be Smurfs this Halloween season, or maybe you'd just like to go see The Smurfs 2 in costume, you can get Smurf costumes here: Smurf Costumes

Halloween Costumes 4 U has Smurf costumes for babies, children and adults. They've got masks, hands, booties and more, so check it out!

Despicable Me 2 Tops Box Office

Despite mixed reviews, the unique style of Despicable Me, has once again shown that the American people like 'different'. Despicable Me 2 topped the box office again this week. It seems that Gru, is becoming a household name.

In this release, instead of being evil, he fights evil - so his character is more heartfelt than the first movie. I will predict that when Halloween time arrives, some of the top selling costumes for 2013 will be the Despicable Me characters.

Since it's release on July 3rd, and as of July 14th, only 11 days in, Despicable Me 2 has taken in $228,376,775 at the box office - that's over a quarter of a Billion dollars!

It just shows how adults like cartoons too! Especially how they seem to always have some adult humor thrown in, that goes right over the heads of their children. It sure ain't like it was in the old Mickey Mouse days.

So if you get the chance, go add to the quarter billion and go see Despicable Me 2. And if you decide to do the fashionable thing during Halloween 2013, check out all that Halloween Costumes 4 U has to offer.

Star Trek Into Darkness - And the 2013 Star Trek Conventions

As many of us know, Star Trek fans are many times, the most devoted and passionate fans you can find. They get downright insulted when someone says Star Wars. I've read a lot over the past few years of fans losing interest and not being too happy with the last few releases. That is until now - Star Treks latest released on May 16th and the buzz seems to be that it was a breath of fresh air. Director J.J. Abrams did a remarkable job and resurrected a series that seems to have been around forever. Star Trek's Into Darkness is the 12th installment from the franchise.

Costumes for Star Trek have always sold well through the years, perhaps because everyone wears them to the infamous Star Trek conventions. Although these conventions happen several times a year in various cities, the big one is the Las Vegas one. This year, it will be held at the Rio.

The fans will once again attempt to break the world record for the most fans in Star Trek costumes in one place at one time. The current Guinness Book of World Records is 1063, set last year in London.
I have a feeling the record will be broken.

If you are attending, and want to help be a part of breaking a record, there are many places that you can get Star Trek costumes, but Halloween Costumes 4 U has a great selection and their prices are very competitive. If you are going to the movie, or the convention, have a great time!
